How do I control the temperature of sensor tap?

There are different ways of controlling the temperature of an automatic tap with a single supply feed. Sensor taps with temperature control built-in (double-feed) i.e. ATT-Series or AMA-Series do not require any of the options below.

Three options are highlighted below.

OPTION 1

Pre-mix water feed

If you have a pre-mix water supply, this can be fed directly to the control box. Whatever water temperature you feed to the box, the same temperature is what comes out of the tap. If you have a pre mix water supply, you won't need a thermostatic valve or a blending valve.

OPTION 2

Temperature control: Blending valve (ABV-0012)

This is a manual blending valve that requires the user to manually twist the knob left or right to adjust the temperature manually.

OPTION 3

Temperature control: Thermostatic valve (ATV-0076)

This is a thermostatic valve that automatically regulate the temperature. This device maintains a constant temperature i.e. 38º and it will automatically adjust its temperature if the temperature of water feeds fluctuates.
