Autotaps is proud to introduce Autotaps SST Series with Surround Sensor Technology; this latest innovation is the first automatic tap that activates as soon as hands come within a few inches above, below, or along the sides of the spout.

The Autotaps SST uses capacitive sensors instead of an infrared beam to detect the presence of hands. It is powered by standard alkaline batteries that are easily installed beneath the sink along with the sensor control box. The batteries last up to 2 years.

The surround sensor eliminates the frustration of searching for the 'infrared range' to get the valve activated. It provides greater user satisfaction, and encourages people to wash their hands more.

The SST uses some of the same Touch-Free Technology components found in other automated restroom products often found in toilets and urinals and soap dispensers.
